2011 RDC Week Celebration - Tree Planting Activity

The RDC is composed of four (4) sectoral committees namely, RSDC, EDC, InfraCom and MEDAFC.  For the Tree Planting Activity, each committee is tasked to plant at least 250 seedlings.  Here are some shots taken during the Tree Planting session on September 27, 2011 at Barangay Saravia, Koronadal City.

As I have mentioned in my previous post, this is the convoy of the RDC members on their way to Barangay Saravia for the Tree Planting activity.  Being a nature lover myself, I have the chance to capture some views while on the way ... Take a look of these shots below ....
Since the motorcade started early morning (6:00 AM) I tried to capture the sun while rising above the horizon.  These are the shots so far that I have considered to posts here...

As the song goes..."morning has broken..."

Another shot for the sunrise while trying to rise behind the plants....So refreshing to see the sun trying to peek out to spread its brightness for the world to see... It made me think that no matter how terrible yesterday is, there is always today to look forward to...who knows it might be the best day of one's life...

A shot of the greeneries where some cows sourced their food for the day...so pleasing to see the nature, its purpose in our lives including that of the animals is always beyond human comprehension...

This is the building of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Regional Office XII located along the national highway.  The motorcade passed by it, hence I have the chance to take a shot of it.

The simplicity of nature always reminds me to accept and appreciate what life has to offer despite its complications, for at the end of the day its always nature that refresh my troubled mind...

How touching to look at this horse while taking its breakfast of grasses... animals, plants as well as human beings are definitely interconnected as to their purpose of existence in this world...

Just imagine if there are no more grasses for this horse to eat...would you think it would survive?  This is one of the reasons why people should not abuse the nature for it will eventually destroy lives of innocent animals like this...

I also have a chance to take a shot of this countryside...its so sad to see that there are only few trees growing in there...Had there been more, it would not only protect the possible soil erosion but it will also be more beautiful to look at...

A white horse while taking its breakfast also...oblivious of the cars passing by...

This photo was taken by ayla...we have just embarked from the car and starting to walk up to the Dungan Lahek Elementary School for the briefing of CENRO regarding the tree planting...

Here we are asked by Ayla to at least turn around and look at her...we are still on the way to Dungan Lahek Elem School...
