2013 Hinugyaw Festival

On January 10, 2013, DBM 12 joined the parade for the Hinugyaw Festival 2013.  Hinugyaw Festival means "Day of Koronadal".  It is dubbed as the "Festival of Festivals," which is actually a commemoration of the diverse ethnicities that has resided on the lush valley of Koronadal for many years now.  "Hinugyaw," is a Hiligaynon term, meaning "merrymaking,".  It is a cheerful and multicolored festival which tells of the historical flow of how tribes from different parts of the Philippines has rolled up in what Koronadal is now despite their multiplicity in culture.  Take a look of the pix I've taken during the parade...
