Day 2 - Project Monitoring in Maguindanao Province & Cotabato City

On the second day of the project monitoring at Maguindanao Province and Cotabato City, the group went to the following projects: 1) Construction of Grand Mosque at Kalanganan 2, Cotabato City, 2) Construction of Timaco Port, Timaco, Cotabato City, 3) Upgrading of Camp Siongco Hospital, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao, and 4) Upgrading of Awang Airport, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao.

After the Grand Mosque, we went to the supposed project site of the Timaco Port.  Here are some of the pix...

The third project we visited was the Upgrading of Camp Siongco Hospital at Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao.  The following pix were taken when the group were there ...

Upon leaving the Camp Siongco Hospital, we proceeded to the nearby Awang Airport to inspect the upgrading being done in the runway as well as the Terminal Building.  Here are some of the pix of the group there ...

Day 1 - Project Monitoring in Maguindanao Province & Cotabato City

The Regional Project Monitoring Committee (RPMC) went to Maguindanao Province and Cotabato City to conduct ocular inspection of various projects in the area.  This was supposedly scheduled on the first quarter of the year but for some reasons it was moved to the second quarter of the year hence, it became the first half of the scheduled second quarter project monitoring.  I was tAsked to represent our Office in the said activity which was conducted on May 9 to 12, 2011.

On the first day of the 3-day monitoring, the group visited the Simuay River Rechanneling, and Rio Grande de Mindanao Dredging.

The first stop of the group is the Simuay River Rechanneling at Sultan Kudarat Maguindanao (Segment I & III) and Sultan Mastura, Maguindanao (Segment II).  Here are some of the pix courtesy of our colleagues from the Presidential Task Force on Mindanao River Basin Rehabilitation and Development (PTFMRBRD)...
