2011 Hinugyaw Festival

We participated in the 2011 Hinugyaw Festival of Koronadal City.  Called as the “Festival of Festivals,” Hinugyaw is a festivity of the dissimilar traditions that has dwelled on the lush basin of Koronadal for a lot of times now.  “Hinugayaw,” from a Haligaynon term, meaning “merrymaking,” is a cheerful and multicolored fiesta which narrates of the historical stream of how ethnic groups from various parts of the Philippines has turned up in what Koronadal is now in spite of their diversity in ethnicities.
